there is a problem with the html version. go back to Thing #3 ...there are some new directions. Save your avatar as a picture..at the Yahoo site click on the edit button on the right...it will give you options to save the picture as a jpg file.
Then go to you blog dashboard...the layout tab and use a Picture GADGET to upload the picture (instead of the html gadget)
no one seems t know why, but this is a workaround!
I had that proble too-so I saved to my desktop then pasted it in. I have found that if you read comments that are left by other players, many of them have already figured out what is not working and how to fix it. Nice pic thought-much better than mine-I look like I did years ago but afraid to go for the cool hair.
the disadvantage is that it is not interactive...in html if you changed your avatars clothes or background the changes would appear.
as a picture if you do that at the avatar site, you have to switch out the picture... no biggie in this case, but the interactivity was one of the original reasons for including it....that and the "get-to-know' folks idea...and the plain ol' fun part!
Goodner: learning and sharing from each other...major objective ! :-)
